LUNDU, July 22: A 47-year-old man who injured his left knee while hiking on Mount Gading was rescued today.
According to a report by the Sarawak Fire and Rescue Department (Bomba), the hiker faced difficulties in descending from Waterfall 3 due to his injury.
Following this, they rang Bomba around 1.15pm for help.
“Firefighters extricated the victim until the starting point, and the medic had given initial treatment to the victim.
“The victim was also advised to receive further treatment at Lundu Hospital,” the report said. — DayakDaily
