45yo man found drowned in Bintangor

KUCHING, Sept 5: The body of a 45-year-old man, who was reported drowned near Rumah Ibok in Bintangor, has been found.

According to a report from the Sarawak Fire and Rescue Department (Bomba) operations center today, the deceased was discovered by villagers at 12.45pm, about 23 kilometers downstream from where he was initially reported to have drowned.

Family members later confirmed the body as Raya Adam, and it has been handed over to the police for further action.

Raya Adam, from Rumah Ibok, Nanga Semah in Bintangor, was feared to have drowned on Sept 3 after bathing in a nearby river. — DayakDaily
