BINTULU, Sept 11: A 40-year-old driver was injured after reportedly losing control of a container lorry before it crashed onto the roadside near SK Batu 18 along Bintulu-Miri Road today.
Fire and Rescue Department (Bomba) Sarawak responded to the emergency at 5.32pm and swiftly deployed a team of firefighters from the Bintulu Station to the scene.

Upon arrival, firefighters found the driver conscious but not trapped in the vehicle.
They stabilised him, administered first aid, and transported him on a stretcher to an awaiting ambulance.
The victim was then handed over to paramedics for further medical treatment. — DayakDaily
