Members of the public of all ages are invited to join this free event with 10,000 specially designed t-shirts to be given out on a first come, first serve basis.

The event will start with the arrival of participants at 5.30am, followed by a Zumba warming-up workout at 6.30am before the Mayor’s Walk begins at 7am.

“Meeting at the MBKS Headquarters foyer, we will stroll along part of Jalan Padungan to Jalan Tan Sri Datuk William Tan to Lorong Goh Meng Teck towards Jalan Sekama before making our way back.

“It is a leisurely walk to bring the community and MBKS family together to get moving and improve our health and wellbeing which is in line with our Kuching Healthy City concept.

“This is also to encourage our citizens to take time out and enjoy the ambiance and appreciate the green shades around our city,” Wee told a press conference today.
