KUCHING, Oct 31: A 34-year-old man is missing after reportedly falling into the river from the Sungai Maong Bridge near Kampung Gita Lama earlier this morning.

Fire and Rescue Department (Bomba) Petra Jaya was alerted at 8.54am and a team of seven firefighters was swiftly mobilised to the scene.

Search and rescue (SAR) efforts to locate the victim are ongoing at press time.

Police officers are also on-site to investigate and provide assistance in the case. — DayakDaily
