34 villages work together to organise Ihya Ramadan 2022 in Demak Laut

KUCHING, April 17: A total of 34 villages in Demak Laut combined their efforts to organise an Ihya Ramadan programme from April 9 to 17.

According to a press release, Deputy Minister of Energy and Environmental Sustainability and Demak Laut assemblyman Dr Hazland Abang Hipni officiated at the event and participated in the distribution of ‘bubur lambuk’ to villagers today.

Meanwhile, he also presented contributions to the local mosques and surau for villagers to carry out their religious and community activities during the month of Ramadan.


Other contributions were also given to the needy including the elderly, single mothers, persons with special needs (OKU), orphans and families with low income. — DayakDaily
