SIBU, Feb 18: Three persons have sought treatment at the Sibu Hospital after they were bitten by a dog at Sungai Bidut today.
The victims include a woman who is the owner of the said dog and two members of the public including a teenager and a man in his fifties.
They were attacked by the canine at about 7am when it suddenly turned violent and acted aggressively.
The older man was bitten on his left hand and left leg while the teenager had bite marks on her fingers.
The dog owner meanwhile sustained bitten marks on her leg and a finger.
A spokesman from the hospital when contacted confirmed the case said the trio had received anti-rabies vaccine.
“They are in stable condition and we hope their cases will not be serious,” he added.— DayakDaily
