“This agropark features dynamic modern farming, aimed at revolutionising the region’s agricultural practices while concurrently promoting agrotourism and eco-tourism,” said Ismawi in a press statement.

He said Recoda’s mission aligns with this goal by attracting investments, creating jobs, and fostering economic development in the Score region, which will contribute to the overall socio-economic upliftment of the area by creating entrepreneurial opportunities and generating income for the local community.

Upon completion, the Agropark which is federally funded under the 12th Malaysia Plan (2021-2025) is set to provide an enriching experience for visitors, who will have the opportunity to learn about local farming practices, while agriculture-based attractions like farmers’ markets will enhance the overall appeal.

“Recoda remains committed to realising its vision of transforming rural areas within the Sarawak Corridor of Renewable Energy (Score) region into thriving economic hubs,” said Ismawi. — DayakDaily
