KUCHING, Sept 23: A 25-year-old woman with asthma and obesity from Sarikei is the youngest among the 15 Covid-19 related deaths reported today.
According to reports by the State Disaster Management Committee (SDMC), the victim had passed away in Sarikei Hospital on Sept 21.
On the same day, there were five other fatalities, with one each from Kuching and Sibu, and three more from Miri.
Prior to that, three brought-in-dead (BID) cases were recorded on Sept 17, with one in Sri Aman and two in Sibu.
On Sept 18, there was another BID in Sibu involving a 49-year-old male with hypertension and obesity.
With two in Sarikei and one in Sibu, three more victims with Covid-19 were detected on Sept 20, whereby all of them had comorbidities.
The final two deaths were recorded yesterday (Sept 22), with both of them originating from Kuching. — DayakDaily
