24yo motorcyclist killed after crashing into lorry, hit by car in Samarahan

SAMARAHAN, Sept 5: A 24-year-old man was killed after his motorcycle crashed into the back of a lorry, causing him to be thrown off and hit by a Perodua Bezza near Kampung Tambir here last night (Sept 4).

According to a report by the Sarawak Fire and Rescue Department (Bomba), the victim, identified as Mohd Hairul Ikhmal Loreng, was travelling from Kampung Mata Parang to Kampung Tambir around 8pm.

Upon Bomba’s arrival at the scene, the victim’s body was found stuck under the vehicle.

He was pronounced dead by a Ministry of Health (MoH) officer at the scene before his body was handed over to the police for further action.

Meanwhile, the drivers of the lorry and the car did not sustain any injuries. — DayakDaily
