SERIAN, June 20: Some 24 members of Bukit Semuja Sports and Recreation Club (Buserec) will volunteer to assist the Dewan Masyarakat Serian vaccination centre (PPV) soon.
Bukit Semuja assemblyman John Ilus during his visit to the PPV yesterday, said the volunteers will begin their duty once they have received the confirmation date from the person in charge of the PPV.
This is part of his party’s contribution to assist in facilitating the implementation of the National Covid-19 Immunisation Programme (Pick).
During the visit, John handed over five units of laptops from Bukit Semuja Constituency Service Centre and another two units from Penghulu Philip Lee to the PPV.
Among those present were Serian Resident Tuah Suni, Serian District Officer Lim Hock Meng, Buserec chairman Joseph Majid and Lee. — DayakDaily
