11 longhouses in Tatau, Bintulu, Pakan and Sarikei under EMCO

KUCHING, June 20: Eleven longhouses in Tatau, Bintulu, Pakan and Sarikei have been put under an Enhanced Movement Control Order (EMCO) to curb the spread of Covid-19 infections.

The State Disaster Management Committee (SDMC) in a press statement today said Rh Buli anak Amit in Sungai Semanok, Tatau will be under EMCO from June 18 until July 1, 2021.

Five other sites, namely, Rh Salang anak Unsa in Sg Separai and Rh Ricky anak Amin in Sg Kelawit in Tatau; Rh Dayang anak Serang in Mile 34 along the Bintulu-Miri road in Bintulu; and Rh Ijau in Sg Kusing and Rh Lawang in Sg Kura, both of Pakan, will be under EMCO from June 19 until July 5, 2021.


In Sarikei, two locations under EMCO starting today until July 6, 2021, are Rh Jawa in Sg Selangan and Rh John in Sg Minus Jakar. Rh Assun and Rh Man, both in Simpang Koko Sg Paoh, also in Pakan, will be under EMCO from June 21 until July 7, 2021.

Rh Ulen anak Segaya in Nanga Tekalit, Tatau will also be under EMCO from June 20 until July 3, 2021.

In the same statement, SDMC also announced the extension of EMCO for seven locations starting today (June 20) until July 4, 2021.

The seven locations are Rh Bala anak Umba; Rh Tulu anak Sli; Rh Duah anak Entingi; Rh Balin anak Gema; Sk St Luke and Nanga Baoh Health Clinic, all in Batang Oya of Dalat, while for Block D, G, H, I, O and Q in Bandaria Park of Bintulu, the extension is from June 20 until June 26, 2021.

Meanwhile, SDMC today ended the EMCO in five locations in Sri Aman, namely in Rh Entu Klampu in Engkilili; Rh Laka in Kampung Upik Lingga; Rh Tuntun in Kampung Seduku Ili of Lingga; Rh Gading in Kampung Ran Ulu; and Rh Entu Klampo in Engkelili; as well as one location in Tatau at Rh Abong anak Madang@Medan in Nanga Tekalit. — DayakDaily
