KUCHING, April 12: A 22-year-old local man was killed in an accident at the Tun Salahuddin Bridge here on April 11.
According to Kuching district police chief ACP Mohd Farhan Lee Abdullah, the accident occurred at 3pm involving the motorcycle which the victim was riding.
“The victim was heading from Petra Jaya to Pending when he lost control of his motorcycle and crashed into the roadside.
“He sustained serious injuries to his head and was confirmed to have passed away at the scene by medical officers,” he said in a statement.
The case is being investigated under Section 41(1) of the Road Transport Act 1987.
