KUCHING, Aug 19: The 2026 Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) examination will be held from Nov 23 to Dec 17, with 420,879 candidates registered to sit for the examination at 3,334 centres nationwide.
The Ministry of Education (MOE) Examination Board today apologised for confusion arising from its press release on the implementation dates of the 2026 SPM examination issued yesterday.
In a statement, the Examination Board said it took the matter seriously and would review and streamline its processes for reviewing and disseminating information to prevent a recurrence.
“All parties are requested to refer to the 2026 SPM Examination Timetable issued through the official channels of the Examination Board as the main reference,” it said.
The 2026 SPM examination will run from Nov 23 to Dec 17. — Bernama
