KUCHING, April 1: Two women suffers minor burns after fire broke out at two houses at Lorong Satok 17 this afternoon.
According to a report from Sarawak Fire and Rescue Department (Bomba) operation center, a call informing of the fire incident was received at 3.26pm. Subsequently, Bomba Petra Jaya and Bomba Padungan were deployed to the affected location.
Operation commander reported that two units of double-storey terrace houses were found to be on fire (70 per cent and 10 per cent damaged respectively), which later spread to the second floors of the houses.
Firefighters proceeded to build a ‘fire break’ and later approached the fire offensively and defensively to complete put it out. – DayakDaily
