KUCHING, July 28: Two houses in Taman Syn Syn, Matang were partially damaged in a fire yesterday (July 27).
According to a report from Sarawak Fire and Rescue Department (Bomba) operations centre, they received a call regarding the incident at 10.25pm and firefighters from Batu Lintang and Padungan fire stations were rushed to the location.

Upon arrival, the operation commander reported the two houses were 80 and 30 per cent damaged respectively.
Two motorcycles were also destroyed in the incident and another two were damaged due to heat emanating from the flames.
No casualties were reported and the cause of the fire as well as total loss are still being investigated. — DayakDaily
