BINTULU, Oct 6: A 12-year-old boy and a 39-year-old woman travelling in a four-wheel-drive (4WD) vehicle suffered critical injuries in a crash at Mile 25 Jalan Bintulu-Miri today.
Additionally, two other children, aged three and seven, sustained minor injuries.
The Fire and Rescue Department (Bomba) Sarawak responded to the emergency at 4.32pm, mobilising a team of firefighters from Bintulu Station.
Upon arriving at the scene, firefighters discovered that passersby had already helped the three children out of the vehicle.
However, the driver was pinned to her seat.
Firefighter immediately extricated the driver and subsequently handed her over to the paramedics for further medical attention. — DayakDaily
