KUCHING, July 18: Chief Minister Datuk Patinggi Abang Johari Tun Openg is expected to grace a dinner hosted by the Malaysian Sim Clan Conference.

Organising chairman Sim Kiang Chiok who paid a courtesy call on Abang Johari earlier today to extend the invitation said in a statement that representatives of the Sim Clan will be coming from all over the world to attend this conference to be held on August 2 here.

He said the conference would be a good platform to introduce Sarawak to the world not only as a nice place to visit but also a place worthwhile to invest in.

About 500 delegates from all over the world and 500 from Sarawak will take part in the conference, he added.

The Malaysian Sim Clan Conference will be held from August 2 until 4. On August 2 and 3, the conference would be held at the Christian Ecumenical Worship Centre, and on August 4 at Aeroville Mall’s Hai Tiang Lo Hall near Stutong here. — DayakDaily
