Organised by Jawatankuasa Sukan Kelab Komuniti (KSK) Satok in collaboration with N.8 Satok Service Centre, the event was designed to create a festive atmosphere of inclusivity where people of all ages could come together for a meaningful celebration.

Satok assemblyman Datuk Ibrahim Baki, who graced the event, commended the strong turnout and highlighted the significance of holding Malaysia Day activities at the grassroots level.

“Today, we are joined not only by the Malay and Melanau communities, but also by the Chinese, Iban and Bidayuh. Alhamdulillah, this reflects the spirit of unity we cherish.

“With such encouraging success, perhaps this programme can be made an annual event,” he said in his speech after the event.

Participants, who registered online ahead of the event, also enjoyed stretching and warm-up sessions before the flag-off, while lucky draws and community activities added to the festive atmosphere. – DayakDaily
