KUCHING, Nov 9: The case of a 30-year-old man who is charged with trafficking and possessing dangerous drugs has been transferred to the High Court, and the accused is further remanded.
Accused Zulkamal Azman is slapped with three charges.
For the first charge, he is alleged to be trafficking 330 grams of Cannabis on Sept 28, 2018, at about 12.40pm in a house in Taman Kubah Jaya. The charge is punishable under subsection 39B(2) of the Dangerous Drugs Act 1952.
For the second charge, he is alleged to be in possession of 122.36 grams of Cannabis on Sept 28, 2018, at about 12.40pm in a house in Taman Kubah Jaya. He is charged under subsection 6 of the Dangerous Drugs Act 1952, which is punishable under subsection 39A(2) of the same Act.
For the third charge, he is alleged to be in possession of 6.38 grams of Cannabis on Sept 28, 2018, at about 12.40pm in a house in Taman Kubah Jaya. He is charged under subsection 6 of the Dangerous Drugs Act 1952, which is punishable under subsection 6 of the same Act. — DayakDaily
