MIRI, August 10: A youth was caught for allegedly stealing 10 packets of seaweed snacks by security guards manning a shopping mall in Lutong here yesterday.
The titbits were worth RM88.50.
It is understood that security personnel noticed the suspect, a man in his 20s, behaving suspiciously when he stepped into the shopping mall around 4pm. The guards pounced when he came out, but not after a short chase, as the suspect tried to flee.
He was later handed over to a mobile police vehicle (MPV) personnel. The suspect has been detained for questioning. — DayakDaily
