Xing pays courtesy call on Lee, discusses collaborative possibilities between Sarawak, China in transport industry

KUCHING, July 7: The Consul General of the People’s Republic of China in Kuching His Excellency Xing Weiping paid a courtesy call today on Minister for Transport Dato Sri Lee Kim Shin at the latter’s office in Bangunan Baitulmakmur, Petra Jaya here.

During the courtesy call, Lee, according to a statement, briefed Xing on the role of the Ministry of Transport Sarawak (MOTS) and ongoing projects utilising Chinese technology, such as the hydrogen bus service and autonomous rapid transit (ART)

They also discussed the possibility of collaboration, including technology and knowledge exchange, in the transport industry between Sarawak and China.
