KUCHING, Aug 22: An empty workshop located at Miri to Pujut Road was completely razed to the ground in a fire on Saturday afternoon.
The incident was reported at 1.47 pm and the Fire and Rescue Department (Bomba) dispatched a team to the scene.
According to a statement from the State Bomba Operation Centre, the workshop has been empty for sometimes and was 100 per cent destroyed in the fire.
Firefighters immediately started their operation in putting out the fire by using two hose reels connected to the fire hydrant nearby.
The fire was later put out completely and no casualty was reported in the incident.-DayakDaily
