“On the way, I had a chance to stop by to inspect the construction progress of the Sarawak Pan Borneo highway at WPC 11 (Lambir Section) Sungai Tangap to Jalan Pujut Link.

“I was made to understand that it is progressing according to schedule,” he said.

According to Nanta, during his last visit to the site in February, the contractors are working to construct the viaduct.

As such, he requested all road users to be patient to ensure the construction of the Pan Borneo highway can be completed safely.

On May 27, 2023, Nanta said the remaining 4.5km of the Lambir section is expected to be completed by 2026. — DayakDaily
