KUCHING, Nov 10: A woman is being trapped in a van while four others have escaped unharmed when the van they are riding in overturned.
The Sarawak Fire and Rescue department (Bomba) said 11 firefighters were deployed after receiving report of the incident that occurred at midnight near the Air Force Mess at 7th Mile.
“In the single vehicle collision, the vehicle carrying the workers overturned and four of the victim (three female and one male) managed to escaped from it while one of the victims was pinned inside before the arrival of the firefighters, ,” Bomba said.
An initial check found that the victim suffered from a trauma and was conscious when she was brought out of the van by firefighters.
The victim was sent to the hospital in an Emergency Medical Rescue Service (EMRS) vehicle for treatment. — DayakDaily
