MIRI, Feb 18: A female promoter lodged a police report after allegedly receiving a death threat from an e-hailing driver for cancelling her ride and using another e-hailing driver.
The situation arose on the morning of Feb 16 when the victim who in her early 30’s from Taman Jelita Taman Tunku received a slow response from the first e-hailing driver, prompting her to make another booking.
The e-hailing driver had allegedly sent her a threatening message in response, even though she had apologised.
She received the message while inside another e-hailing car. — DayakDaily
