MIRI, Oct 3: Robbers carted off valuables and cash amounting to RM60,000 after they broke into a double-storey house in Jalan Friendship Garden at Jalan Airport on Sunday morning (Sept 30).
At the time of the incident, the homeowner, a woman in her 30’s, was asleep on the upper floor, unaware of the intrusion. She only discovered the robbery later around 8am.
The initial police investigation revealed that the incident had taken place around 4am.
It is believed that the robbers gained access into the double-storey house via a kitchen window.
A police report has been lodged. — DayakDaily
