SIBU, July 23: A shop assistant is appealing to the public to help locate her teenage daughter who has gone missing since mid-April.
The 48-year old woman in her police report disclosed that in mid-April, her colleague told her that she saw her daughter, Magretha Tara, 14, going out with a male friend.
In May 2020, the girl contacted the complainant saying that she had gotten married and is staying in Kapit.
However at about 9.38pm on July 14, the complainant said she received a WhatsApp voice message from her daughter who could be heard crying.
She tried to contact her daughter through the number several times but failed.
Members of the public who know of Magretha’s whereabouts are urged to contact investigating officer Sgt Jingau at 084-314110 ext 216. — DayakDaily
