MIRI, June 24: A woman in her 30s was injured after the vehicle she was traveling in met with an accident at Sungai Dalam, Jalan Miri-Bintulu early this morning.
Eight firefighters were deployed to the scene upon receiving the emergency call at 4.20am.
Upon arrival, they found two wrecked vehicles comprising a van and a car.
It is learnt that both vehicles were coming from opposite directions when the head-on collision happened.
The woman was still trapped in the van while a two-year-old toddler and two male adults were safely taken out by members of the public. She was safely extracted by the firefighters. — DayakDaily
