MIRI, Jan 24: A woman was injured following an accident at the traffic light junction near Mega Hotel Miri this morning.
A spokesperson from the Fire and Rescue Department (Bomba) said that a call was received at 2.40am and firefighters from the Miri Central station were deployed.

“Upon arrival, it was reported that the accident involved two vehicles, which are a Perodua Viva and a Toyota Estima.
“The female driver, who drove the Perodua Viva, was trapped in the driver’s seat while the driver of the Toyota Estima was unharmed,” said the spokesperson.
Firefighters managed to extricate the victim using special tools and she was later handed over to personnel from the Health Ministry. — DayakDaily
