Windy with chance of thunderstorms, heavy rain in central, southern Sarawak until early morning

KUCHING, Feb 27: Central and southern parts of Sarawak are expected to have windy conditions, with the potential of thunderstorms, heavy rain, and strong winds from the afternoon until early morning.

According to a weather model analysis released by the Malaysian Meteorological Department (METMalaysia) at 12.30pm today, thunderstorms and heavy rain with strong winds are also expected to occur in some places in the interior and west of Peninsular Malaysia.


“We are also expecting dry and hot weather in some places with temperatures exceeding 35 degrees Celsius, especially in the north of Peninsular Malaysia and Sabah.
