KUCHING, Aug 6: Puncak Borneo MP Datuk Willie Mongin has been accepted as a member of Parti Pesaka Bumiputera Bersatu (PBB).
This was confirmed by Premier Datuk Patinggi Tan Sri Abang Johari Tun Openg, who is also the party president.
“The Council has accepted the application from Willie Mongin to become a PBB member without any commitment.
“(There was) no condition. He becomes a member because he supports PBB so it’s good,” he said during a press conference after chairing a PBB Supreme Council meeting at PBB headquarters today.
When asked about the independent MP for Lubok Antu, Jugah Muyang, Abang Johari said he will leave the matter to Parti Rakyat Sarawak (PRS).
“That one I leave to PRS because he did not apply here (PBB), he applied to PRS,” he commented. — DayakDaily
