KUCHING, Aug 6: The Sarawak government has agreed to develop the Rajang Area Security Command (Rascom) settlement.

According to a news report from Sarawak Public Communication Unit (Ukas) on Aug 5, Kanowit MP Datuk Aaron Ago Dagang said this includes an action plan for the area’s socio-economic development.

“The matter has been approved by Premier of Sarawak Datuk Patinggi Tan Sri Abang Johari Tun Openg,” he said.

Aaron recently said this when officiating at the district-level Warrior’s Day celebration at Fort Emma.

Meanwhile, touching on the Warrior’s Day celebration, Aaron, who is also Deputy Minister of Health, pointed out that Sarawak has three warrior monuments in Kuching, Lundu, and Kanowit.

“Every year, we come together to this place (monument) to celebrate Warrior’s Day on July 31,” he added. — DayakDaily
