“I will leave it to the party leadership to decide my next role as we prepare for the election,” he said.

He said this at the opening of the Zhao An Folk Culture Seminar, held in conjunction with the Sarawak Zhao An Association’s 90th anniversary celebration at Imperial Hotel Kuching today

On Oct 23, Premier Datuk Patinggi Tan Sri Abang Johari Tun Openg announced that the Sarawak Legislative Assembly (DUS) would be dissolved on Oct 26, following consent from Sarawak Governor Tun Pehin Sri Dr Wan Junaidi Tuanku Jaafar.

Abdul Karim had previously floated Dec 5, 12 and 19 as possible polling dates, but stressed on Oct 17 that the dates were speculative and the Election Commission (EC) would make the final decision. — DayakDaily
