SIBU,Feb 28: Almost half of the town will experience water supply disruptions on March 2.
Sibu Water Board (SWB) said the disruption will start from 10pm due to the replacement of electricity meters and the repair work of the main switch board by Sarawak Energy Berhad at Jalan Upper Lanang, which will take approximately five to seven hours.

SWB has advised users to store enough water for their needs throughout the duration of the water supply interruption.
“Our team will try to complete the work as soon as possible and the water supply will gradually recover in the affected areas.
“If the weather does not permit, the work will be carried out the next day. Any complications that arise are deeply regretted,” said SWB.
