KUCHING, June 30: Residents in several areas of Kuching, including the vicinity of Kuching International Airport, are expected to experience low water pressure or a complete water supply interruption today due to urgent pipe repair works.
The Kuching Water Board (KWB) has announced that the disruption, caused by a repair to a 160mm ductile iron (DI) main pipe leak at Hornbill Skyways, will begin at 10am and is estimated to last until 8pm.
The affected areas include Hornbill Skyways, Kuarters Pejabat Penerbangan Awam, The Ryegates, Lorong Stampin Tengah, Bangunan Lee Onn, Kuching International Airport, and surrounding zones.
To mitigate the impact, KWB has mobilised water tankers to supply affected residents.
The public is urged to drive with caution near the repair area and adhere to all traffic management instructions in place for safety.
