Water interruption expected at Lorong Keranji 4 area in Kuching from Sept 8 (9pm)-Sept 9 (6am)

KUCHING, Sept 8: Residents of Lorong Keranji 4, Desa Pines Apartment, and nearby areas will experience water supply interruption and low water pressure from Sept 8 (Friday) 9pm to Sept 9 (Saturday) 6am.

Kuching Water Board (KWB) will carry out pipe connection work at the 400mm main pipe at Lorong Keranji 4, Tabuan Desa, Kuching, according to a KWB advisory.

Areas affected include Lorong Keranji 4, Lorong Keranji 4A, Lorong Keranji 4E, Lorong Keranji 4F, Lorong Keranji 4G, Lorong Keranji 4H, Lorong Keranji 4J, Tabuan Jaya Police Station, Desa Pines Apartment, and nearby areas.

“During the recovery period, consumers will experience low water pressure, airlocks, and dirty water.

“Consumers are advised to be prepared for the said occasion and to store enough water for their consumption. The Board regrets the inconvenience caused to the consumer,” said KWB.
