KUCHING, Sept 23: Residents in Bau will be experiencing water supply disruption or low water pressure from 9am to 11am tomorrow (Sept 24).
The Sarawak Rural Water Supply Department (JBLAB) Bau said the affected areas include
Kampung Peninjau Baru, Kampung Peninjau Lama, Jalan Kampung Siniawan Baru, Taman Siniawan and nearby areas.
“The disruption is to give way to contractors for new pipeline connection works. We have instructed the contractors to finish the job as quickly as possible,” it said in a notice today.
Consumers are thus advised to store sufficient water for daily use before the water disruption, while the authorities work to ensure that water supply is resumed as soon as possible.
