KUCHING, May 16: All areas in Lawas will experience water supply interruption except for Punang in Kuala Lawas and Merapok.
The Limbang Rural Water Supply Department (JBALB) in a notice today said the water supply interruption will occur from 10am today until the water supply is fully restored.
Thus, the department advised the people in Lawas to store up adequate water supply during the interruption period.
It explained that the water supply disruption was caused by emergency repair works due to technical problems that occurred at the Trusan water treatment plant.
Hence, water supply was temporarily stopped during the repair works.
