KUCHING, July 21: Walk-in Covid-19 vaccinations are now allowed at all vaccinations centres (PPVs) in Sarawak.

The State Disaster Management Committee (SDMC) announced this today following the approval from the Covid-19 Immunisation Task Force (CITF) in Sarawak for all PPVs to implement vaccination for walk-ins.

In its daily update on the Covid-19 situation in Sarawak, SDMC also advised those who have yet to be notified of their appointment to get their first vaccine dose to contact their respective Divisional DMC (DDMC) starting from July 23 to Aug 5.

All vaccine recipients have been urged to book an appointment date for walk-in vaccination prior to visiting the PPV.

CITF Sarawak also stressed the importance of completing vaccinations according to the type of vaccine and recommended time interval between the doses that have been issued.
