Unifor presents RM3.02 mln in grants to 8 religious organisations in Sarawak

KUCHING, Oct 7: Unit for Other Religions (Unifor) has presented grants totalling RM3.02 million to eight religious organisations in Sarawak today.

The grants were handed over by minister in charge of Unifor Datuk Amar Douglas Uggah Embas, accompanied by Deputy State Secretary Datuk Ik Pahon, to respective State assemblymen in the Chief Minister’s office here today.

Among those were Assistant Minister of Community Wellbeing Datuk Francis Harden who is also Simanggang assemblyman, and Assistant Minister of Native Laws and Customs Datuk John Sikie Tayai who is also Kakus assemblyman.


Others included Meradong assemblyman Datuk Ding Kuong Hing, Balingian assemblyman Abdul Yakub Haji Arbi, Tamin assemblyman Christopher Gira Sambang and Ngemah assemblyman Alexander Vincent.
