Unemployed man ordered to enter defence on 3 counts of murder

KUCHING, Jan 29: A jobless man was today ordered to enter his defence for three counts of a murder charge.

High Court judge Ravinthran N. Paramaguru ordered accused Ulin Blukok, 44, to enter his defence on Feb 22, 2019.


Ulin was charged with three counts of murdering Chermi Ijau @ Noraini Abdullah, 52, Joe Steveny Gindi @ Mohd Joe Abdullah, 23, and Daud Abdullah, 64.

He was alleged to have murdered the three victims at Kampung Tumu, Batu 10, Jalan Matang, at about 3.30pm on Jan 22, 2017.

Ulin was charged under Section 302 of the Penal Code, which provides for a mandatory death sentence upon conviction.
