Speaking during the art exhibition closing ceremony, Kota Samarahan Municipal Council (MPKS) chairman Dato Peter Minos lauded the efforts by UiTM and its students to work together with the local community in their programme.

He said such a corporate social responsibility (CSR) programme is not only a good platform to help young talents grow, but at the same time promote art culture to the public.

“This will not only make Samarahan an educational centre but also a cultural and talent development centre,” he said.

He also hoped that both Universiti Malaysia Sarawak (Unimas) and UiTM students will continue efforts to make Samarahan an attractive location. — DayakDaily
