Uggah: RM30 million Spaoh bridge among state development projects

SPAOH, Oct 18: A new RM30 million Spaoh bridge crossing the Paku river is among several development projects to be implemented by the state government near here.

Deputy Chief Minister Datuk Amar Douglas Uggah Embas said some of the ongoing development projects being implemented by the state government included the RM6.2 million Spaoh Waterfront project, the RM5 million new sub district office and the RM5 million new market.

The Spaoh Waterfront project is expected to be completed by the end of this year.


Uggah was inspecting several projects which were being implemented by the Gabungan Parti Sarawak (GPS) state government during his working visit here today.

At the same time, Uggah who is Second Finance Minister also called on all GPS party members to work hard and ensure a big victory for its candidates at the upcoming state election.

“We must have a rock solid foundation for a very strong, stable government,” he said when officiating at a briefing for the Bukit Saban constituency campaigners, polling and counting agents here today.

Some 135 people attended the briefing conducted by a political secretary to the Chief Minister Dr Richard Rapu. —DayakDaily
