TYT Wan Junaidi hopes monarchy will uphold country’s sovereignty, strengthen national stability

KUCHING, Feb 5: Sarawak Governor (TYT) Tun Pehin Sri Dr Wan Junaidi Tuanku expressed his hope that Malaysia’s monarchy will continue to uphold the country’s sovereignty, strengthening the stability and harmony of the people.

He said this after attending the Meeting of the 268th Conference of Rulers at Istana Negara today, according to news reports by the Sarawak Public Communications Unit (Ukas).

He also hoped that every decision reached at this meeting can strengthen the governance of the country and bring lasting benefits to religion, race, and nation.

He was accompanied by Sarawak Deputy Premier Datuk Amar Awang Tengah Ali Hasan.

The meeting was chaired by the Sultan of Kedah, His Royal Highness Tuanku Al-Aminul Karim Sultan Sallehuddin Ibni Almarhum Sultan Badlishah. – DayakDaily
