KUCHING, Mar 27: Sarawak governor Tun Abdul Taib Mahmud and wife Toh Puan Raghad Kurdi Taib have contributed packed food and bottled mineral water to 750 personnel at Sarawak police headquarters.
In a statement, the Head of State and Toh Puan expressed their gratitude for the sacrifice and commitment of the personnel in carrying out their duties and responsibilities as frontliners during this trying time.
Taib’s senior private secretary Datuk Mustapa Han presented the contribution to the state police headquarters Public Service chief Supt Ismail Mahmood.
“Astana Negeri will try its best to extend the assistance towards the frontliners as effort to show appreciation for their hard works in curbing the Covid-19 outbreak,” Mustapa said during the handing over.
Mustapa said that the contribution was a token of appreciation from the Astana Negeri for their services as frontliners. —DayakDaily.
