Two people dies after vehicle plunges into 60m-deep ravine

KAPIT, Nov 13: Two people were killed when the four-wheel-drive vehicle they were travelling in plunged into a 60m-deep ravine here today.

Fire and Rescue Department (Bomba) operations centre, in a statement, said they received a distressed call at 4pm, that a vehicle had went over the cliff along KM1, Jiwa Murni road, in Mujong.

The vehicle was carrying four passengers.


Two male adults survived the crash, while the two other victims, a man in his 40s and one female adult in her 30s, were pronounced dead by medical officers at site.
