Two nabbed for drugs at Kota Sentosa

KUCHING, June 5: Two suspects with criminal records were arrested after 6g of methamphetamine were found in their room located at Mile 7, Kota Sentosa on Friday afternoon.

“A police team which was led by Insp Farid had arrested the two suspects at Mile 7 area,” Padawan District police chief Supt Aidil Bolhassan said in a press statement.


According to Aidil, the police team later checked their room and three transparent packets with methamphetamine were found on the ground where the suspects were sitting when the police were checking the room.

“One of the two suspects admitted he had been dealing drugs by using online bank transfer with buyers around Mile 7 area,” Aidil said.

According to Aidil, both suspects, aged 26 and 34, had previous crime records under the Dangerous Drug Act 1952.

“Both suspects will be remanded at Siburan Police Station and further action and investigation will be held on,” Aidil said.—DayakDaily
