BAU, May 27: Two motorcyclists sustained severe head injuries in an accident at Jalan Kampung Puak towards Kampung Seropat last night (May 26).
Fire and Rescue Department (Bomba) Sarawak responded to the emergency at 7.07pm and swiftly mobilised a team of firefighters from the Bau Station to the scene.
Upon arrival, firefighters confirmed an accident had occurred between two motorcycles.
One of the victims was treated onsite by paramedics with the assistance from firefighters and was immediately transported to Bau Hospital using an Emergency Medical Rescue Services (EMRS) vehicle.
The other victim was transported to the hospital in an ambulance from the Ministry of Health (MOH).
The operation concluded at 7.42pm after firefighters ensured the safety of the site. — DayakDaily
