Two motorcyclists injured in collision after one runs red light, says APM

MIRI, June 3: Two motorcyclists were injured after they collided with one another at a traffic intersection near Ah Hong Supermarket in Luak this morning (Saturday).

According to the Miri Civil Defence Force (APM), both victims, aged 18 and 39, sustained injuries to various parts of their bodies and had to be rushed to Miri Hospital for treatment.

Four APM personnel were dispatched to the scene upon responding to an alert call at 7.15am.

“It was believed that the crash happened after one of the motorcyclists illegally ran the red lights,” said a Miri APM spokesperson. — DayakDaily
